16 Weeks

(The best thing about Heidi being in this picture is that it was NOT planned or requested. She just came over and sat just like that with her toy. Girl loves a good opt!)

How far along? 16 Weeks, 4 days
Baby is the size of: An avocado. About 4.5 inches long. 
What's new with baby: Its legs are much more developed, eyes have moved closer to the front of the head and ears are close to their final position. Although it doesn't have hair yet, the patterning of its scalp has begun. Movements have become increasingly coordinated. Its heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day. A growth spurt is just around the corner. 
Maternity clothes? Mostly wearing my normal dresses. I did buy another pair of maternity pants on sale the other day. 
Sleep: Sleeping alright.
Sleeping on: A mix of side and back.
Best moment this week: 1) We had a doctors appointment this morning. Heard the heart beat and everything is good. 2) Officially emptied the soon-to-be baby room 3) Royal baby excitement!!
Miss Anything? Fitting into all of my clothes. I also wished I could have had a drink at the Blake Shelton concert on Saturday.
Movement: Not yet. Anxiously waiting.
Food cravings: Buffalo wings.

Feeling (happy, moody, emotional, scared): So happy but while I'm being honest, I think I've been a little moodier than usual this week.
Looking forward to: Finding out if it is a BOY or a GIRL on Aug. 9!!!! Also, seeing my parents, Grandma and Aunt Bernie all in Atlanta tomorrow!
